Thanks to English poet and artist William Blake, England is
often fondly referred to as ‘this green and pleasant land’. And it’s easy to see why: thanks to a
temperate climate, England can rightly boast to have the most stunning
countryside anywhere in the world and with it an abundance of gardens which continue
to delight garden enthusiasts both from within the United Kingdom and
throughout the world, many of whom come here for this reason alone.

Kew Gardens in South West London and more than 200 owned by the National Trust,
there also exist many more smaller ones which whilst not always open to the
